Feline Medicine

Margie is a 1982 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College and has maintained Feline species certification by the ABVP since 1995.  In 1986 she opened Cats Only Veterinary Clinic in Vancouver, practicing there until 2008 when she retired from regular practice. She is fascinated by integrative aspects of physiology, anatomy, behavior, nutrition and the well-being of cats. Margie has published studies and guidelines and written numerous book chapters on topics in gastroenterology, nutrition, analgesia, vaccination, hyperthyroidism and feline environmental wellness.  She co-edits the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery, and has served on many organizations including as President of AAFP.
