DESCRIPTION:Barbara Oglesbee\, DVM\, Diplomate\, ABVP is a board-certified
  Avian &amp\; Exotics Veterinarian. Dr. Oglesbee is a graduate of  The O
 hio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is one of approxi
 mately 100 veterinarians worldwide who are board-certified in avian medici
 ne and surgery. In addition to practicing at MedVet Hilliard\, Dr. Oglesbe
 e also serves as an Associate Professor of Avian and Exotic Animal Medicin
 e at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.\n\nDr. Ogle
 sbee has more than 20 years of experience treating exotic pets of all shap
 es and sizes. She has authored and contributed to multiple textbooks used 
 by veterinarians worldwide\, and has served as Associate Editor of the Jo
 urnal of Avian Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Oglesbee is an advocate for cont
 inuing education\, and lectures to veterinary professionals at state\, nat
 ional\, and international veterinary conferences.\n\nDr. Oglesbee’s favo
 rite thing about practicing veterinary medicine is the challenge of diagno
 sing and treating exotic pet illnesses. She enjoys having the ability to i
 mprovise and create solutions based on the unique size and anatomical diff
 erences of each patient.  She will speak on Exotic Companion Mammals\, e
