 .\nDr. Canfield is a graduate of Mississippi State University College of V
 eterinary Medicine. He entered private practice in Florida following gradu
 ation. He worked in general practice for several years prior to pursuing a
  dermatology residency.\n\nHe was subsequently accepted into a residency p
 rogram at the Animal Dermatology Clinic in Tustin\, California. Dr. Canfie
 ld traveled between the Tustin\, California\; Marietta\, Georgia\; and New
  Port Richey\, Florida practices throughout his residency training which b
 roadened the diversity of his experiences.\n\nUpon completion of his resid
 ency\, he remained in the Marietta\, Georgia practice while concurrently s
 erving as emergency clinician for Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic and as 
 a general practitioner when traveling to Florida each month. Dr. Canfield 
 served as a dermatologist at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners and at locatio
 ns in Fort Pierce\, Melbourne\, and St. Petersburg\, Florida for Animal De
 rmatology South.\n\nDr. Canfield has extensive experience in cryosurgery a
 nd laser surgery. He enjoys the diversity that dermatology affords while m
 aintaining a love for and an active role in general practice. Dr. Canfield
  has lectured at local\, state\, and national veterinary meetings and is a
  Florida continuing education provider.
