Mallory Kanwal (DVM, DAVDC) attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate degree and then completed her DVM at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, Dr. Kanwal completed a medicine, emergency and surgery internship at VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Kanwal then moved to Illinois to pursue a three-year residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the University of Illinois. She completed her residency and became a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College as a board certified veterinary dentist. She returned to Cleveland, Ohio to create the Dentistry and Oral Surgery Service at VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists in 2021.
In her free time, Dr. Kanwal enjoys biking on the Towpath Trail, supporting the Monsters and Cavaliers and spending time with her husband,13year old Labrador (Smokey) and family.
